Couture may be the older man but I think he has more left in him than Nogueira. Mir just completely outclassed Nogueira in STRIKES. When did Mir ever become such a good striker?

Ahhh the real main event. Marquardt is clearly the better striker but I think his ego will get the best of him and will try to grapple with Maia. Maia has the best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the game. I see Maia winning in the 2nd round by submission.

There is no question that Florian has improved since his last title fight. He has improved at every aspect but Penn is still on another level. Judging by the weighins it looks like Penn is in the best shape of his life. Penn will get to Florian with strikes and then finish him off with the rear naked choke and "Ken-Flo" falls short again.

Amir Sadollah vs. Johny Hendricks
I honestly don't know anything about Hendricks except that he is a top notch wrestler. What I do know is that Sadollah is one tough and talented SOB. He has not fought since winning the Ultimate Fighter competition cause of injuries. I don't think the layoff will have much effect on him and the time off has helped him refine his skills. Amir catches Hendricks with a arm bar and ends the fight in 2 rounds.

Frank Mir vs. Brock Lesnar
The rematch that everyone wanted to see. If Mir can get out of the 1st round and avoid Lesner's round 1 barrage he can definitely win this fight. Although Lesner was impressive vs. Couture he still looked like he was already tiring after the 1st round. Mir will be able to catch Lesnar and submit him. Mir is definitely more skilled all around but Lesnar has the huge strength advantage but like Mir said "the biggest bully doesn't always win".

Georges St. Pierre vs. Thiago Alves
Alves will give GSP a run for his money. I don't think anyone else in the welterweight class can match GSP's strength other than Alves. Hughes wasn't able to take down Alves when he tried. I'm not saying Alves will definitely win but there is definitely a lot of value betting on him. There is basically no value betting on GSP at -300. The key to this fight will be how will Alves can defend GSP's takedowns. Alves has the far superior strikes and I can't see GSP trying to stand up with him.

Dan Henderson vs. Michael Bisping
I see this as a complete mismatch. Henderson is better in every category and I think Bisping is banking on Henderson getting "old" over night. Henderson is getting up there in age but he has not looked like he slowed down at all in his most recent fights. Bisping says he will be the first to knock out Henderson. I'd like to see whose the one looking up the ceiling at the end of the night.

There I said it. Dwight Howard has no post moves and he can't go left. He is still young and still has a shot to learn but I think he just relies on his power. Bynum on the other hand has shown a soft touch and he has some pretty nifty moves. I don't think Howard will ever be someone that you can go to in the 4th quarter while Bynum can be a go to guy in the future when Kobe is done.

Orlando has certainly missed out on many opportunities that could have made this series 2-2 or even 3-1 them. They have one more good game in them and will at least bring this back to LA. Dwight Howard will have a huge game today and will put his team on his back or shoulders haha. I don't trust Orlando enough for them to give points so go with the money line.

Miguel Cotto is my favorite fighter and this is a very risky fight for him. He took a beating from Margarito (illegal hand wraps or not) and I don't think anyone really knows if it damaged him in the short and long term. Clottey as we all know is a very durable fighter that keeps his hands up high and comes forward. He is somewhat like Winky Wright with the turtle shell defense but less technical. I can see Clottey giving Cotto problems toward the later rounds but I think Cotto will realize early on that he will have to box at a patient pace. Cotto will not be able to knock out the durable Clottey and he will have to rely on his foot work and jab to control the fight. The only way I see Clottey winning is if he wears Cotto down and KO/TKO's him. I think a good way to bet this fight is to take Cotto by decision and also to protect yourself with a Clottey by KO bet. I think either way you come out with a profit unless something dramatic, like a bad cut that stops the fight.
